Historic Jacob Lake Ranger Station | Grand Trip Out West

Just a little ways down the road from where we camped, there is a beautiful historic ranger station! We enjoyed exploring it one evening, and again the following afternoon.

That, believe it or not, is Jacob Lake. Where we live, lakes are huge. This was more of a pond! But it's very, very dry up on the Kaibab Plateau.

The Grand Canyon | Grand Trip Out West

We spent two full days sightseeing at the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. It really is true that it's impossible to capture the Grand Canyon with a camera. You have to see it for yourself!


Camping among the Ponderosa pines - so beautiful!


You won't believe it...this is actually the drive out to the North Rim. What a beautiful place!
