Gulf Shores | Spring 2014

My family and I took our travel trailer to Gulf Shores for the first time last year after hearing about how wonderful it is. We loved it so much that we quickly decided we wanted to keep coming back! We camped there for a weekend in March, and then again at the end of May. It's a beautiful place! Enjoy the pictures...and the video at the end!

When we went to The Wharf at Orange Beach in March, the Ferris wheel wasn't running because it was before noon....but when we came back to Gulf Shores in May, we rode it. :)

One afternoon we drove out to the historic Fort Morgan at the western end of the Alabama coast. You can read more about it here. We had fun exploring and even got to take our poodle, Maggie, with us!

The light was so beautiful, and it reminded me of pictures I've seen of the Santa Monica Pier at sunset...but no picture can really capture it.
