The second day in Yosemite was spent in the valley. It was amazing to see places like Half Dome from below after seeing them from above the day before!
Yosemite Valley, with Half Dome in the distance
Bridalveil Falls, called such because the wind blows the water from side to side and it looks like a bride's veil blowing in the breeze!
The sun was directly overhead, and I had to use my hand to shield the lens so you could actually see the falls!
El Capitan
At the end of the road in the valley is the historic Ahwahnee Hotel
It's not often you see this...
...or this!
We ate a picnic lunch by the Merced River
That water was COLD!
We thought this was so funny...you get married, and you camp and play golf on your honeymoon!
Or, you get married and all your relatives can camp and play golf while they're up there!
For the love of travel,
Rebekah
