Just a little ways down the road from where we camped, there is a beautiful historic ranger station! We enjoyed exploring it one evening, and again the following afternoon.
One of my favorite pictures from the whole trip!
That, believe it or not, is Jacob Lake. Where we live, lakes are huge. This was more of a pond! But it's very, very dry up on the Kaibab Plateau.

ReplyDeleteOoh, a horse picture! I love those. :-) That is a pretty cabin/ranger station. It reminds me a little of the cabin in the Smokies we stayed at during my senior trip. Beautiful pictures (you're so good at clear and dramatic shots!).
