Yosemite National Park, Part 1 | Grand Trip Out West

After a wonderful week in Monterey, we headed over to Yosemite National Park for a couple days. What a beautiful place!


We drove through Castroville, the Artichoke Capitol of the World...



And also Gilroy, the Garlic Capitol of the World! It really does smell like garlic there. Actually, it smells like an Italian restaurant. :)




And yes, we went to In-N-Out again!

The Grizzly Giant, which, if Daddy's calculations were correct (1/16th inch growth per year times 15 foot radius) is at least 2,700 years old! The lowest limb is 7 feet in diameter!

Strange to see a coyote walking around in the middle of the day! It was really hot and dry out, though.

This little chipmunk was quite funny. He posed for more than one photographer!
