After we saw the Naval Postgraduate School (see previous post), we drove up to the Presidio. It's the Army's Defense Language Institute, where people from all branches of the military come to learn the language of the country they will be deploying to. (Not everybody does this, just people with certain jobs that require them to learn foreign languages.)
The main reason we went there was because it's up on a hill, and the views of Monterey Bay are beautiful!
These deer were roaming wild in a neighborhood nearby!
The ground squirrels at Lover's Point are soooo funny.
A second later he put his paws on my knee as I stooped down to take his picture!
For the love of travel,

The shot of the shoreline with the pebble beach made me gasp, it was so beautiful.
ReplyDeleteAh! Those squirrels are cute! I'll bet you'll never forget the one who put paws on your knees! It reminds me of the time at the duck pond, years ago, when a duck waddled up and grabbed a slice of bread out of my hand!
Blessings,
