The last day we were in San Diego, we drove up to Escondido! We intended to see the museum at the Welk Resort (we're funny, we like watching the Lawrence Welk show even though it's from our grandparents' generation; the music is timeless!). Unfortunately, the museum wasn't open, but we still had fun seeing what little we could!

These musical notes were in the sidewalk!
Aaaaaand...we ate at In-N-Out for the first time ever! Seriously SO GOOD y'all.
The secret to In-N-Out's success.
We heard about it a few years ago from Steven Curtis Chapman's family, actually, who love it like crazy and go there every time they're in California.
All of their ingredients are super fresh (never frozen), so the locations have to be within a certain radius of the distribution centers. They're mostly in California, but a couple years ago they built a distribution center in the Dallas area.
I think we need to sign a petition for them to build one in, say, Atlanta or something, so we can have them in the South! Their food is SO good, the employees are friendly, the service is fast, and the restaurants are so clean. You don't see that a lot these days!
For the love of travel, music, and good food,
Rebekah
